Anthony Dunning, an established interior designer in New York, New York, merges his enduring passion for the arts with a love of creating unique, luxurious spaces. Originally from Columbus, OH, Anthony began his career in a different kind of art, graduating from Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Music and Theater. Post-musical theater, he obtained his real estate license from Hondros College and began selling homes, soon realizing that what brought him joy was not the selling, but the staging, of homes. As he sold and staged homes, he simultaneously worked at a furniture consignment shop to expand his expertise in acquiring unique pieces. Through his time there, he realized the impact he could have with his affinity for design. Anthony opened two furniture consignment shops of his own, attending furniture and antique shows across the United States, often exhibiting his own wares for sale. His luxe, authentic, slightly edgy aesthetic began to take shape. After several years of establishing his practice in Ohio, Anthony moved to New York City and jumpstarted his interior design firm, Trader’s Haven Design. His talent began to attract big-name clients, ranging from salon brand Fox & Jane (including their new concept LITTLELION), to the homes of prominent newsmakers, trendsetters, and tastemakers. Anthony creates distinct, eye-catching spaces. Integrating the modern and the elegant, he provides an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach. Anthony continues to enjoy music, theatre, the arts, and all things design. With a propensity to go above and beyond to help his clients achieve their goals, Anthony delivers final products that exceed expectations.
